What did Moscow say after the Crimean Bridge blast?

Summary
A look back at the political backdrop on 10 October 2022, after Russia's formal annexation steps and the accusation over the bridge explosion.
What was the political picture in Russia's war on Ukraine on 10 October 2022? It was shaped by two developments in the days before: a series of formal steps to annex Ukrainian territory, and an explosion on the Crimean Bridge.
The annexation steps
On 4 October 2022, the Federation Council of Russia unanimously approved the annexation of Ukraine's Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. The documents were then due to receive final signing by President Vladimir Putin.
That followed on 5 October 2022, when Putin signed a law formally annexing the Donetsk People's Republic, the Luhansk People's Republic, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia into Russia.
The bridge accusation
On 9 October 2022, Putin formally accused Ukraine, and specifically the Security Service of Ukraine, of being behind the explosion on the Crimean Bridge. The blast killed three people and partially destroyed part of the bridge. Putin described it as an act of terrorism.
Where things stood on 10 October 2022
By 10 October 2022, then, the Russian leadership had completed the formal annexation procedure for the four regions within a week. It had also publicly placed responsibility for the bridge explosion on Ukraine's security service, using the language of terrorism.
